In 2023, I was planning a pumpkin-themed outfit for a fall trip to Disney. I wanted an accessory that would tie the whole look together and that’s when inspiration struck. With the help of a few YouTube tutorials to research “fake bake” techniques, lots of trial and error, and the determination to create something unique, I crafted my very first bag: a pumpkin pie-inspired purse.

Designing and making that purse was so exciting that I didn’t want to stop. Ideas started flooding in. I envisioned tons of fun, coordinated outfits and spent most of my time outside of work crafting new designs. By 2024, my hobby was regularly starting to catch the attention of strangers. People often stopped me in public to ask about my food-themed bags and even expressed interest in buying them. Their enthusiasm planted the seed of an idea that led to this store: what if I could fund my hobby by sharing these creations with others?

That same year, I officially launched The Bag Bakery, turning my passion into a small business. Each bag I create carries the same joy and inspiration I felt with that very first pumpkin pie purse, and I hope they bring as much fun and whimsy to others as they do to me.
